Nikki and the Butterfly Bush:
In June of 2009, after having knee surgery, I sat on the porch every day for at
least an hour, looking at all our beautiful landscaping my husband created. I
decided to see how Reiki would effect the Butterfly Bush next to the porch that
was growing slowly. We also had 2 more on the side yard, but I was guided to use
Reiki on this particular one. I provided distant Reiki to it daily for 2 months,
beaming it from my eyes, third eye, and heart chakra. Now this summer, I noticed
that out of that first Butterfly Bush grew a second one...and it was absolutely
beautiful in that the flowers were twice the size of the other 3 Butterfly Bushes! It
was much taller as well. And the other ones had been growing for at least 8 years.
Also the color of the flowers were a different shade of purple...a vibrant violet
color, which reminded me of the Violet Flame. We certainly have received such
beauty from these Reiki-infused flowers, and we are very grateful.
Julia brushing teeth and Reiki for food:
Julia (age 3) and I were in the bathroom preparing to brush her teeth. She was
NOT looking forward to this as she thought the toothpaste tasted awful. She
looked at me and said, "Oh mommy, I have an idea! We can Reiki it and it will taste
better!" So we both provided Reiki to her toothbrush with the toothpaste on it for
about 1 minute. After, she brushed her teeth happily and said, "Mmmmmm, the
Reiki made it taste much better."
Julia (age3) and her 2 older siblings were eating dinner (chicken) while we were
visiting at a friend's home, and I noticed she had her 2 tiny hands hovering over
the chicken. She told me she wanted to give Reiki to the chicken before she ate
it. Her older siblings, who had taken the Children's Reiki class said, "Oh yeah, we
forgot about doing that! It's a good thing she reminded us!"
Injured Bird/Ella and Nikki:
My neighbor found a bird that had an injured wing and decided to put it in a large
bucket outside to keep it from harm. She said it had been there all morning. My
daughter and I were curious and went over to see it. I had just finished my level 2
Reiki class and felt guided to put my hands over the bucket where the bird was
sitting for it to receive Reiki. I stayed there for 3 minutes enjoying the feelings of
peacefulness, compassion, and gratitude as the bird sat quietly and calmly. My
daughter and I said a prayer together and happily walked home, knowing the
outcome was in the loving hands of the Divine.
The next day I saw my neighbor and she told me that the bird flew away 15 minutes
after we left (she was unaware that the bird received Reiki). She was happily
surprised! I felt that this bird and experience was a very special gift in
demonstrating the beautiful and limitless power of unconditional love...Reiki.
Jon and the game system:
Our kids recently took the Reiki for Children class with Mira and they have been
finding their own fun ways of experiencing Reiki. My son was having difficulty
getting his Nintendo game to work. Off in the distance I could see my daughter,
but was so focused on trying to figure out what was wrong with the game. She
walked over to us with her hands cupped, aiming it at the game. The game turned
on within a few seconds. She simply stated that she "let Reiki work on it." She
taught me a nice reminder to let go and allow the Reiki to flow, as well as the
simple and powerful, unlimited uses of Reiki.
Experience from relative:
I was asked by a family member if I could send distant Reiki in the evening. During
the session, I felt strong guidance to go from the positions of the head right to
the Root Chakra. I trusted the process. At 9:50pm, I remember looking at the
clock as I sat with my hands positioned on their Root Chakra. I fell asleep and 40
minutes later woke up, knowing Reiki was most needed in that area. I continued
their session and then went to bed.

Mr & Mrs Robin and Family:
A Robin couple decided to build a nest on my parents kitchen window sill. My
mother calls them Mr. and Mrs. Robin The babies have hatched and both parents
and all 4 babies are receiving Reiki from my mom, Natalie, Olivia, and Ryan every
day. I make it available on the days that I go over there and I am not working. I
have attempted to get pictures but Mrs. Robin sits on her babies if we are not
providing Reiki... so if I am holding my camera and trying to focus she hides her
babies- she stands on the edge of her nest if we are providing Reiki so she does
allow them to get the benefits of Reiki treatments. Mr. Robin spends most of his
time looking for food for his family- but he does get Reiki occasionally.
It will be hard when the babies leave because we have all enjoyed them but
hopefully they will fly back occasionally for their Reiki treatments. It is amazing
because they do like Reiki!

Reiki for Fertility:
My husband and I had been trying to conceive a child for about 6 months when
Reiki came into my life. To be honest, I had many anxieties about becoming
pregnant again only because of the difficulties with my previous pregnancy with
our twins. The doctors were unsure if we could even conceive again and they
were concerned whether or not I could carry another baby. I did know, however,
that God would carry me through and keep me in the palm of His hand if we were
to become pregnant. I "moved" through these fears by faith and asked God to
send me strength and guidance. It was then that He opened the door to Reiki.
I met a woman in a yoga class and we discussed the healing energies of
alternative therapies. She mentioned Reiki and how much it had made a
difference in her life. I was intrigued and immediately drawn to the information.
She told me about Mira and about the lectures and classes she taught. I went to
my first lecture and it felt like I was "coming home" to something I have known
before. I loved it. I then had two sessions with Mira and received Reiki. During
the sessions we discussed my desire to become pregnant again, as well as my
many fears of carrying a child. I really enjoyed our sessions together and felt
many wonderful changes.
A few weeks later, my husband and I decided to take the Reiki 1 class to continue
our healing process as well as give Reiki to our 2 other kids. A few days after our
class ended, I was giving Reiki to my husband one night and I heard a thought in
my head. I heard, "You and your husband will be having a re-birth of the love
between the two of you. You are taking your love and marriage to a new level." I
was unsure of what if meant, but took it as he and I just growing together through
Reiki. We found out a few days later, on Mother's Day, that I was pregnant and I
began to see how much Reiki had helped to unfold this beautiful life experience.
We also realized that during our Reiki 1 class, we had been about 3 weeks
pregnant! It was a miracle and a blessing. I know that the sessions I previously
had with Mira helped heal me and prepare my body for pregnancy. What a
precious gift.
Every day I receive Reiki. Reiki is healing and bringing energy to me emotionally
and physically (especially my uterus!) in order to bring this Divine child into the
world. I am now 6 months pregnant and I know that my baby and I are full of
beautiful Reiki love and light. The nausea in the beginning of my pregnancy was
very little, the fatigue was much less, and I am able to enjoy activities I thought
would not be possible. My pregnancy is safe, comfortable, smooth, and joyful. I
